Vom Grubenlehm zur Stampflehmmischung - From pit clay to rammed earth mixture

Sie erwerben Fertigkeiten und Kenntnisse zu:

• Material Lehm: Experimente von CraTerre, Handprüfverfahren, erforschende Übungen

• Einführung in die Stampflehmtechnik

• Zusammensetzung von Stampflehm: Korngerüst, Bindemittel, organische Zuschläge

• Herstellen von Stampflehmmischungen; Qualitätsanforderungen an Mischungen und Stampflehmbauteile

• Vergleich mit Produkten

• Bestimmung der geeigneten Einbaufeuchte

• Überblick über gängige Labortests

• Entwicklung von Rezepturen, Herstellen und Beurteilen von Probewürfeln

• Herstellung von Reparaturmischungen und Ausführung von Reparaturarbeiten

• Präsentation von zeitgemäßen Stampflehmbauprojekten

In weiteren praktischen Übungen wird die Umsetzung im Stampflehmbau exemplarisch ausgeführt: die Herstellung von Stampflehmwandelementen und die Reparatur von Stampflehmwänden.
Das Programm wird ergänzt durch die Besichtigung von Stampflehmbauteilen und des Lehmmuseums Gnevsdorf.

Das Seminar richtet sich an Ausbildende, Lehrende und Prüfungseinrichtungen, die Kurse und Prüfungen zur Erfassung von Lehmbaukompetenzen anbieten wollen, sowie an Handwerker*innen, Planer*innen und andere Interessierte.

Der Kurs bietet die Möglichkeit, sich mit Lehmbauexpert*innen aus anderen Europäischen Ländern auszutauschen.

Sie haben die Möglichkeit, den Kurs mit einem Zertifikat (und entsprechender Prüfung) abzuschließen: Einheit M – Vom Rohlehm zur Lehmmischung /Schwerpunkt Stampflehm, EQF- Level: Niveaustufe 3 des Europäischen Qualifikationsrahmens.

Lehrkräfte und Ausbilder*innen erhalten eine Einführung zu den Lern.Lehm Zertifizierungen, dem Europäischen Qualifikationsrahmen (EQR) und dem Europäische Leistungspunktesystem in der Berufsbildung (ECVET). During this course you will acquire skills and knowledge on:

• earth building materials: experiments (CraTerre), hand testing methods, exploratory exercises.

• Introduction to rammed earth techniques

• Composition of rammed earth: grain structure, binding agents, organic aggregates

• Production of rammed earth mixtures; quality requirements for mixtures and rammed earth components

• Comparison with products

• Determination of suitable installation moisture

• Overview of common laboratory tests

• Development of recipes, production and evaluation of test cubes

• Presentation of contemporary rammed earth construction projects

Further practical exercises will exemplify the implementation in rammed earth construction: the production of rammed earth wall elements and the repair of rammed earth walls. The program is supplemented by a visit to rammed earth building elements and the Gnevsdorf clay museum.

The seminar aims at trainers, teachers and assessors, who want to offer courses and examinations to assess earth building competences, as well as craftsmen, planners and other interested parties.

The course offers the opportunity to exchange with clay building experts from other European countries.

You will have the opportunity to take an exam on Unit M - From raw clay to clay mixes /focus on rammed clay, EQF- Level: Level 3 of the European Qualifications Framework.

Teachers and trainers will receive an introduction to the Lern.Lehm certifications, the European Qualifications Framework (EQF) and the European Credit System in Vocational Education and Training (ECVET).
